Enable us to cage our personal demons –  for at least one day.

Relieve bodies riddled with pain – for at least one day.

Protect children from abuse and bullets and hunger – for at least one day.

No tornadoes, no hurricanes, no tsunamis, no earthquakes – for at least one day.

Peace in the Middle East – for at least one day.

Brotherhood and sisterhood among people of no faith and all the other different faiths – for at least one day.

No homophobia, no racism, no sexism, no class-ism, no-ism’s – for at least one day.

No graveyards, no hearses, no funeral homes – for at least one day.

No rapes, no bullying, no murders, no war – for at least one day.

No genetic defects, no lack of medical care, no Alzheimer’s, no cancer, nobody in pediatric intensive care units – for at least one day.
