Evidently the Roman Catholic male club is not happy with the female nuns. The Roman Catholic Church’s boys club has been going on far too long. It’s time for the club to be dismantled or for Catholics to leave their church. God approves of the nuns far more than God approves of the male hierarchy. The sisters remind us that each one of the poor is Jesus in disguise.
Get on the bus with the nuns. Let’s rid the church and the world of sexism.
That’s the main reason I never fit into the Catholic church. A bunch of old men in Rome making the rules and interpreting the Bible, if they ever actually read it. I’m happy to say that after 20 years, I am back to my American Baptist root at a VERY liberal church. Thanks be to God!
The church in change is both painful and exciting to watch. Martin Luther never meant for Roman Catholics to leave and he certainly didn’t want a following, but change happens. I’m not educated with the history of the Baptists, but I believe they’ve had numerous splits like Lutherans and the different branches of Catholicism, yes? I think all of us are on the bus with the nuns going through changes.
